Western Sussex Hospitals is a new NHS organisation created by the merger of the Royal West Sussex and Worthing and Southlands Hospitals NHS Trusts on 1 April 2009

The new Trust now runs St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester, Southlands Hospital, Shoreham-by-Sea, and Worthing Hospital, Worthing, as a single NHS organisation

The three hospitals have come together to deliver excellent, safe and sustainable health services for local people, and become more accountable to them by attaining Foundation Trust status

Over the coming months, Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust will be developing its own website.
