Know the structure and function of the bladder

Understand the principles of infection control

Know the complications and difficulties with suprapubic catheterisation

Know the types of catheters
Who should attend:
Qualified Nurses: In order to attend these courses it is important that you:

Have a competent mentor to supervise your practice

Complete all the assessments within 6 months
-
Your manager must be aware and have nominated you for this course.
