There are many ways in which you can help the Western Sussex Hospitals Charitable Trust. Our fundraising activities take a lot of organising and need all kinds of people to make them happen, and make them succeed.
Here are eight things we are looking for people to help us with.
Collecting box coordinator
It’s simple – we give you some boxes and you place them. You then collect them when they are full and exchange them for new ones. Collecting boxes raise a considerable amount of money each year for charities and you could help us by being a very special part of the fundraising team.
Ambassadors
We need people who love our hospitals to help the fundraising team fulfil all our appointments.
Event volunteers
Event volunteers are invaluable to us and we are always looking for more people to join our team.
Friends groups
We are currently setting up friends groups to be our voice in the community, so if you have some free time and would like to set up or join a friends group, do please call us today!
Lottery promoters
Another way in which you could volunteer is in promoting our charitable lottery within your place of work to your customers or work colleagues.
Or you could support the lottery office’s promotional work by helping us run stands at events and exhibitions, e.g. garden centres, concerts, sports events and festivals.
We also require volunteers to visit shops and organisations to promote our charitable lottery – is that you?
Fundraising volunteers
We are always looking for volunteers to help us with general fundraising work.
Lottery syndicate organiser
This role involves getting together a group of people who want to play the Trust charitable lottery and collecting their subscriptions once a week, month or quarter.
Lottery leaflet distributer
Do you enjoy walking?
Are you interested in getting out and about in West Sussex and helping us at the same time?
We are looking for volunteers to visit towns and villages in the area and promote our charitable lottery by popping leaflets through people’s doors – could that be you?
If you think your skills could help the lottery office or if you would just like more information about any of the roles above please contact us.
