Bicycle parking facilities at St Richard's Hospital are situated outside the Accident and Emergency department, to the west of the main hospital entrance.
Chichester is on the National Cycle Network Route 2, which is signposted between Fishbourne to the west and Hunston to the south, and which goes on to Bognor Regis and Worthing along the coast.
The villages of Bosham and Fishbourne to the west, Hunston and Donnington to the south, Tangmere and Westhampnett to the east, and Lavant and West Dean to the north all have good cycle routes into the centre of Chichester.
Bognor Regis, five miles to the south east, is linked to Chichester by a good, predominantly traffic-free cycle route, which includes a bridge over the A27.
