Current advice is that it is safe to make calls using mobile phones within hospital buildings.
However, there are some areas and circumstances in which it is not appropriate to use your mobile in hospital.
If you need to use your mobile while you are on a ward or in a clinical area, please ask a member of staff if it is ok to do so.
