When you receive your booking appointment letter, you will also receive a booklet called Screening Tests for you and Your Baby.

This booklet discusses screening for Down's syndrome in pregnancy. The screening tests are optional and it is up to you whether you would like to have the test.

Your Community Midwife will discuss the test in full with you at your booking appointment or you can contact the Antenatal Screening Co-ordinator before your appointment.
