Dr Laji's has helped develop a responsive and efficient diabetes and endocrinology service at the St Richard's site of the Western Sussex NHS Foundation Trust.
He offers diagnosis and management of a wide range of endocrine conditions, including those of pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands, and incepted and supervises the radio iodine treatment for benign thyroid disease in Chichester.
He is also part of the multidisciplinary team dealing with laparoscopic adrenal surgery, minimally-invasive parathyroid surgery and bariatric surgery.
Having developed the endocrine practice with modern tools for data management, the department is now firmly on the map for dealing with complex endocrine pathologies. Dr Laji has a special interest in the appropriate categorisation of diabetes, leading to logical treatment selection based on physiological dysfunction.
A wide range of biochemical and imaging investigations are available at the St Richard's site, including endocrine dynamic function testing, specialised imaging and other diagnostic facilities.
Dr Laji is a keen teacher and lectures regularly for a wide range of audiences including medical students, junior doctors, nurses and GP colleagues. He is involved in clinical research and audit projects at the hospital.
Outside work, he is a keen artist, photographer, flyer and a tech enthusiast.
