I have wide range of experience in general surgery including head, chest and abdominal injury; thyroid, gall bladder, hernia and bowel surgery.
I moved to the UK in 2008, where I started the intercollegiate surgical training curriculum, obtaining MRCS and FRCS in 2011 and 2015 respectively.
I completed a year fellowship in bariatric and metabolic surgery with the Western Sussex Hospitals Institute of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery, accredited by the International Federation for Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO) as a centre of excellence.
My expertise include elective and emergency laparoscopic surgery for gastrointestinal, biliary, obesity, and hernia disorders. I have a keen interest in colorectal neoplasia pathways, pilonidal disease and endoscopy services. I am a keen teacher of basic principles of surgery.
