All welcome at Council of Governors meeting Thursday 20 September

The Council of Governors of Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will meet in public on Thursday 20 September at The Dome, 21-22 Marine Parade, Worthing, BN11 3PT.           

Beginning at 9.30am, the meeting will review the performance of the CQC-rated Outstanding organisation, which runs hospitals in Chichester, Worthing and Shoreham.

The governors, whose role it is to represent the local population will also discuss items on trust membership and governance.

Refreshments will be served at the beginning of the meeting and members of the public will have an opportunity to ask questions of the Council just before its conclusion at 12.30pm.

Lead Governor, John Thompson, said: “We welcome members of the public to attend our meetings and learn more about challenges and improvements at Western Sussex Hospitals.

“As a Foundation Trust, the organisation is accountable to its members, as well as the public that we serve, and we are keen to hear people’s views about our local acute health services.”

The next quarterly meeting of the trust’s Council of Governors will take place on Monday 10 December 2018 in Mickerson Hall, Chichester Medical Education Centre, St Richard’s Hospital from 09.30am.
