Trust Board to meet in public on 30 January 2020

Thursday January 16, 2020

The board of Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust meets in public on Thursday 30 January at St Richard’s Hospital. Please note this is a change in time and location from previously advertised on our website.

Starting at 10am in the Bateman Room, Chichester Medical Education Centre (CMEC), the agenda includes a report on workforce, financial and operational performance across the trust.

Chief executive Dame Marianne Griffiths will also share some of the latest trust news and there will be an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions just before the meeting ends at 1pm.

Chairman, Alan McCarthy, said: “We welcome trust members, patients and the general public attending our meetings and always provide time for public questions.

“Nearly 10,000 people work or volunteer in our three hospitals and, as demand for our services continues to grow, we really value engaging with the people and the local communities we serve.”

The agenda for the meeting is published one week in advance on the trust’s website, together with forthcoming meeting dates: www.westernsussexhospitals.nhs.uk/your-trust/board/.

For example, the trust’s Council of Governors will meet in public in the John Bull Room, Worthing Health Education Centre (WHEC), Worthing Hospital, on Thursday 6 February from 2-5pm.
