Our cardiologists are a close working team who have a strong commitment to research and have been involved in many practice-changing trials.

Our cardiologists offer a broad spectrum of cardiology treatments and services for;

Non-invasive cardiology investigations include

  • Ambulatory ECG monitoring
  • Coronary angiography
  • Echocardiography (transthoracic and transoesophageal)
  • Exercise treadmill testing

  • Complex pacing
  • Reveal implants

Cardiac catheter laboratories

There are also two modern cardiac catheter laboratories on our Worthing site for invasive treatments.

The integrated service at Worthing offers on-site, 320-slice coronary CT, Cardiac MRI and one of the UK’s largest pacing and complex device services.

There is full access to a whole range of percutaneous coronary technology (PCI) including pressure wire and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS).

Procedures undertaken include angioplasty with stent insertion, rotoblation of coronary vessels and pressure of wire studies.
