Acute – Clinical work and support

The trainee will have a major role in training other junior doctors and supervising the on-call but will also have a team of AMU-based juniors. There are opportunities to attend weekly Acute Medicine clinics but also to take part in specialty ward-rounds. Trainees will be supported in acquiring their chosen ‘additional skills’ for Acute Medicine. Trainees will be encouraged to take part in service-development and an active clinical governance program.
