Getting involved
As a member, you can be involved with the trust as much or as little as you like.
If you’ve only got a few minutes to spare, there are still a lot of little things you can do that will make a big difference to our hospitals’ work.
But if you can give us a few hours, you will find there are many rewarding roles you can take on to help our patients, our staff and your community.
If you can take just 10 minutes…
You could take an online feedback questionnaire to let us know what you thought of your hospital experience
You could read our latest news stories and share them with others who you think would be interested
You could email your governor to ask them a question or share an idea or suggestion
Or you could recruit another member – encourage your friends and relatives to fill out the form online
If you can spare us an hour or more…
You could read our @WesternSussex members’ newsletter and tell us what you would like to see it include
You could attend a Council of Governors meeting to see how it represents your views
You could join one of our discussion, advisory or service user groups
You could attend one of our stakeholder forum or Medicine for Members events
You could volunteer at one of our hospitals or help our fundraising campaigns
Or you could stand for election as a governor yourself.
