Our three hospitals are very fortunate to have the support of so many volunteers. More than 1,000 dedicated people give up their time freely to work in many areas of the hospitals.

Our volunteers are an important part of our team. They make a significant difference to our patients, visitors and our staff, and their assistance is greatly appreciated. With the demands on NHS staff growing all the time.

Need for this support is also increasing – so if you are over 16, have a few spare hours each week and would like to make a difference to people’s lives, please get in touch with one of our voluntary services managers:
